In this fun and engaging kids' smartphone photography class, students will learn the basics of capturing high-quality photos and videos using the devices they already have—smartphones!
They'll explore key concepts like composition, lighting, and framing, as well as learn how to use their phone's camera features, such as focus, zoom, and exposure settings, to enhance their shots.
In addition to photography, they will also dive into the basics of video production, learning how to shoot short clips, stabilize footage, and experiment with simple editing techniques.
Through hands-on activities and creative challenges, kids will gain skills in photographing everything from nature to portraits, and even learn how to edit both photos and videos using easy-to-use apps. By the end of the course, they'll be able to take professional-looking photos and videos, expressing their creativity through the lens of their smartphone!

I have always had a passion for photography and a deep love for working with children. A few years ago I decided to return to school and study to become an education assistant, which allowed me to combine my two interests in a meaningful way.
Today, I am a professional photographer who runs a specialized photography program for kids. This program not only teaches children the technical skills of photography but also encourages them to express their creativity and view the world through a unique lens.
By merging my expertise in photography with my dedication to education, I strive to inspire and nurture the next generation of young photographers.

A DSLR camera with at least one lens, or you can also do the class with a point and shoot camera. This option will be more limited as the functionality is not the same.
What do my kids need to bring?
Each school will have a desginated class room, I will notify you before the class starts where to meeting point or class room will be.
